St. Patrick's Day

I haven't been writing much lately, due to various exam-based reasons. I did get a break yesterday to roam the town and take a few pictures of the St. Patrick's Day festivities, so I thought at could at least post the results. Here are a few, the rest are on my flickr photostream.

my sister turns under the streetlamp

and she is dotted with snowflakes

as if someone was gently erasing her

it tastes good, she says

 

the world has shrunk to fit this little scene

the envelope of hush and sweep

it was this time last year I met you

and stayed up late to keep you company

when you worked the nightshift

and we were both untouched in love

and anger
